Oxford has excellent rail links to London, with direct services from London’s Paddington Station and Marylebone Station, making arriving by train from the city a smooth process. It is also possible to arrive at Birmingham Airport, which is served by a direct rail link to Oxford, with trains every hour.

Students arriving at Heathrow Airport can take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station where they can then catch a direct train to Oxford. For those arriving at Gatwick Airport, they can take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station and then make a short connection on the Underground to catch a direct train from either Paddington or Marylebone Station.
For those arriving at other airports such as London Luton, London City and London Stansted it is possible to catch a direct train into London, and then connect to Paddington Station or Marylebone Station via the Underground.
