The Enhanced Programme combines the Octorial Programme with personal one-to-one lessons. The tailor-made individual sessions allow students to focus on a particular topic or area of specialisation and study this in detail with a personal tutor. This programme gives students the opportunity to blend communication, language and team project sessions with individual lessons, allowing them to benefit from the dynamics of a group lesson with the personal focus of one-to-one lessons.
The one-to-one lessons allow the tutor to design a customised timetable, unique to the student’s needs or areas of interest. The student makes significant progress as they concentrate solely on their individual requirements and begin to feel at ease using their English in a range of situations.
Students enrolled on our Enhanced Exam Preparation Programme will be able to further their understanding of exam techniques and work on areas of weakness during the one-to-one sessions. With the support of their personal tutor, students can choose to focus on a specific area of the exam, and receive practical feedback and advice and useful explanations which will ensure they have all the necessary tools to achieve success in the exam.

The language skills lessons develop language competency. These sessions provide you with a strong foundation in English and the core skills you need to progress to the next level. The small class sizes of no more than 8 students allow constant interaction with tutors.
The workshops build confidence and fluency. You have the chance to practise public speaking and participate as an active member of an audience. The daily Spoken Performance Workshop develops both verbal and non-verbal communication skills allowing students to become engaging and effective speakers.
Over the duration of your course you work on a Mentored Dissertation, which is an extended piece of work often involving independent research. The project is tailored to your levels, learning objectives and the length of your course. Tutors monitor and support your progress and set goals with individual students each week.
One-to-one lessons provide students with the unique opportunity to rapidly enhance the skills and language capabilities gained throughout the day in the Octorial Programme, by focusing on specific areas of interest and individual goals of a professional, academic, or personal nature. A choice of either 5 or 7.5 individual lessons per week can be added to the Octorial Programme.
